Grafted Ministries Trips

This was the best trip of my life. People ask me what the highlight was, and I tell them, ‘There were highlights on a daily basis. I had several ‘ah ha’ moments and read the Bible with brand new eyes. It’s invigorating!

The Grafted Ministries Israel trip has brought every sermon, Bible study, and daily devotional to life with a more tangible approach. The Bible is forever changed for me in an amazing way. My experience in Israel has allowed me to connect with my Jewish friends on a much deeper level.

Perhaps even more than the amazing way this trip brought new light to my time spent in the Word, it absolutely changed my heart for how to pray for God’s will for Israel and all the people around that area. The itinerary Todd chose and the things he taught us will impact me for the rest of my life.

My experience in Israel was awe-striking. With every location I was privileged to place my feet, I felt overwhelmed with the knowledge and history of the land. How we experienced the land and moved towards relationships with the people we encountered was amazing. I read my Bible differently now. I see Scripture more tangibly and I’m able to find new understandings in Jesus’ teachings because of the newfound knowledge I have of the land. The experience has forever changed the way I view Christ and the way I view Jewish people.

Visiting Israel was a life-changing experience and I will never read the Biblical narrative the same after walking the very places that Jesus walked. During our time in Israel it was clear that God has, and continues to have, a heart for the Jews and he continues to draw them to himself. Israel is a special place and every person should visit.

This trip changed the way I read the Bible from the written word to the LIVING WORD! From the solitude on the Mount of Olives to watching the sunrise over the Sea of Galilee…surfing in Jaffa, to trekking through Hezekiah’s tunnel. Bottom line, I am walking closer to Jesus from my time in Israel.
